I had a fun two days. And I know one of the main reasons was because I didn’t have to worry about Kate and Jem. I am grateful for wonderful families who embrace my children like they’re their own. And for wonderful friends, who 3 years ago, if life had been different, I would never have known.
I am grateful for the most perfect Sunday morning spent with beautiful girl friends. Beautiful friends who haven’t forgotten how much fun can be had with an ocean and a wave. Even if most of us are a bit older than 40.
I am grateful for my daughter’s friendship with my friend’s son. He brings such a fabulous energy into our home every time he visits. He is kind, cheeky, charming, challenging and fun. He has such enthusiasm for life that it is truly infectious. The girls and I all become a lot lighter and a lot more fun when he is around. He had us at hello.
